Musical Theatre Pathway

Never before has the need to be a genuine triple threat performer ever been so essential to succeeding in the musical theatre industry.  Whether it be in the West End, aboard cruise ships, touring the UK or in concerts, the demand for performers to be strong in singing, dancing and acting have become an essential quality for casting directors and producers.

Our Musical Theatre Pathway is designed to push students to be specialists in all three areas, making them the strongest, most competitive they can be when they enter auditions. With Musical Theatre spanning over 100 years of different styles, we have a carefully planned course structure that focuses on each era in turn and immerses the students in the knowledge and skills they require to be versatile performers.

Due to our commitment of small classes, and our dedicated team of teachers direct from the industry, we are able to offer bespoke training to each individual student, ensuring that their strengths are promoted, while their weaknesses are nurtured and transformed into new strengths. All students are offered the opportunity for private vocal tuition with our Musical Theatre faculty.

Each student graduates with a complete, versatile portfolio of audition songs suited to their individual voice and abilities ready to hit the casting room. We work with students to ensure they have headshots, CV’s, and show reels as well as the knowledge of how to style themselves for each era.

All Musical Theatre Pathway students perform a full scale musical each year which provides the opportunity to be seen by invited agents and casting directors, as well as arranging ‘agent days’ within the college.
